Cold weather enthusiasts are welcome to come to Huntley Park District’s Polar Fest – but they’ll have to wait another month on account of the fact that it’s not particularly polar outside right now.
The event was takes place from noon to 3 p.m. this Saturday at the Park District, 12015 Mill St. Organizers have now rescheduled it for Saturday, Feb. 18.
Activities include children’s games, crafts, a s’more station, ice sculpting, dog sled racing, ice skating and a sled hill (weather permitting), and others. The event is free to the public, but some activities have costs.
