DCEO announces $350M in federal funding to help IL small business
The Treasury Department announced last week that Illinois will receive up to $354.6 million to support small businesses through the State Small Business Credit Initiative.
Funding will allow Illinois to expand access to capital for small businesses to start up and to expand their operations.
The money will further augment the existing Advantage Illinois Loan Participation Program, as well as create three new programs – the Advantage Illinois Loan Guarantee Program, they INVENT Venture Capital Program, and the Climate Bank Finance Loan Participation Program.
