The McHenry County VAC stands ready to help our veterans

McHenry County this week is joining local governments nationwide in observing Operation Green Light to show support for veterans and let them know about the resources available to them.

The nationwide observance is meant to honor the service and sacrifice of the men and women who served our country in the Armed Forces – and the green light that is shining at the County Administration Building is also a beacon to the office of the McHenry County Veterans Assistance Commission, which stands ready to help veterans access the benefits they earned.

Click on the picture above to check out a video showcasing our VAC and the services they provide, and click here to learn more about McHenry County’s observance of Operation Green Light.

Thank you to every McHenry County resident who served in the Armed Forces!
